Oktoberfest Ride at Hydrocut

We hit Kitchener Ontario for a great fall ride and lunch at Angie's Kitchen

Saturday October 21st we headed off to ride the trails at Hydrocut with some of our riding guests. The weather was perfect and everybody was in fine form and ready to ride.

We started our ride around 9:30am from the Sydney Parking lot as the trailbuilders were busy doing some trail maintenance out by the Glasgow Parking lot (kudos to all the volunteers for their effort). The trails were in great shape and with the leaves falling the colours were amazing along with the smells of the great outdoors. We rode pretty consistently with a few stops here and there to catch some breath :-)

After about 2.5 hours we started our way back to the parking lot and got cleaned up for lunch. We had a great meal and craft beer tasting arranged at Angie's Kitchen in St Agatha (just down the road for the hydrocut trails).

There was no shortage of food at the lunch as our plates were loaded to the top (kudos to Jim for starting his plate last and finishing first with no scraps left on the plate :-) Angie's had some great craft beers on tap so we did our duty and sampled quite a few of them, leaving a couple for the next trip.

All in all, we had a great day of riding, great food and some delicious craft beer.
