Just a quick recap on our Christie Lake Adventure ride on Sunday. We had a solid turnout of riders and great weather to support our efforts. We covered off most of the trails at Christie Lake with a nice fun pace that allowed riders at various levels to enjoy themselves without feeling left behind (we hope anyway :-)

After a few hours on the trails, we cleaned up and headed over to Lagershed Brewery in Dundas (also known as Shawn and Ed's). What a fantastic building - congrats to the brewery for their restoration efforts - the inside and outside look great. Staff were also amazing to deal with and provided a great tour full of history - the tour was made even better with those samples we had in our hands :-)

After the tour, we sat down and explored more of the beers that Lagershed had to offer along with some lunch. Personally, I had to fill up a couple of growlers with their Cherry Lager (what a nice refreshing flavour) and their Barrelshed beer which had a nice robust flavour with a hint of caramel. The last thing to buy was the hat and I was good to go home!

All in all a great day was had by all and this is definitely a trip we will repeat in the future.
